I have finally been able to start my first blog entry and what better way to start it, than with this 12 x 12 layout I created using Echo Park’s Jack and Jill range. Other products I used were Kaisercraft Navy cardstock, Kaisercraft Kaiser Mist Denim, Dylusions Black Marble spray, 2 Crafty Chipboard stars and Kindy Glitz.
I love layering with patterned papers so that’s what I did with this layout. This range is so easy to use that it was a quick layout to create which is what I love especially when time is not a luxury I get with having small munchicans running around the house.
Because this layout doesn’t have a lot of textures on the page I wanted to add dimension, so with the title I used one of the stickers that comes with the range and used foam dots to raise it and make it “pop” so to speak.
I also used the same technique another sticker in the pack but I also mounted with the cardstock that I used as my backing sheet just to give it a frame look.
Once I had finished with the stickers, I used the 2 sprays to splatter around the layout which I love doing and I have to say most of my layouts have this done to them 🙂
And to finish the layout off I sprayed my chipboard stars with Kaisermists “Denim” and put a light coating of Kindy Glitz to give the layout just that little bit more dimension.
Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoyed my first post.
