Hello there my creative lovelies!!! Today I get to share with you all my latest layout using the new 3Quarter Designs Beach House Collection. I love doing beach theme layouts and this collection is perfect!!!!
I used “Bach” patterned paper for my background along with some corrugated cardstock. I did a little bit of fussy cutting to cut out the anchor and starfish from the same sheet. I added some stenciling and sprays by Art Anthology.
For my photo cluster I used “Warf”, ” Underwater” and “Sea Air” Elements sheets along with the shutter chipboard and the chipboard title.
To finish off the layout I added some stamping, flowers, art stones and cheese cloth.
Thanks for dropping by and stay creative xx
Hey there my lovely followers, today I am sharing my interpretation of this month’s mood board challenge for Dusty Attic. And can I just say, I love this mood board!!! The theme and colours are right up my alley!!! At the end of the blog I have a process video so please feel free to check it out.
For my background papers I used 49 and Market Captured Adventures – The Journey and Far Away Land. I used Paper Artsy Fresco Chalk Acrylic Paint – Mermaid and Caribbean Sea and white gesso for the background colour of the layout.
I covered all my chipboard pieces in white gesso and used Paper Artsy Fresco Chalk Acrylic Paint – Mermaid and Caribbean Sea to cover the starfish, page pebble and wordpl@y (seaside escape). Then applied some archival ink in Sepia and Coffee to add the different tones for brown. I also dry brushed the flowers with white gesso to tone the colour down.
For the ship wheel I heat embossed using Stampendous Aged Taupe Embossing Enamel. I tore a piece of corrugated cardstock and using my finger rubbed some white gesso around the edges. To colour the cheesecloth I used Prima Color Bloom spray – Summer Sky and 13 Arts Ayeeda Chalk Mist – Turquoise.
To finish off the layout I added some art stones and glass beads. Please feel free to check out my process video below.

Wow can you believe it is already AUGUST?!!! I seriously have no idea where this year has gone! So today I am up on the Dusty Attic blog with my interpretation of the August mood board and can I just say this month’s board is absolutely stunning!!! I used the colours for my inspiration and was lucky enough to have the perfect photo to match!!
For my layout I am using some of the chipboard from the new release and Jen has done an amazing job creating these little beauties. I actually had to stop myself from adding more chippy!!!
For all of my chipboard pieces apart from the wordpl@ay #1 piece, I applied a coat of white gesso and then added colours using various Prima inks and sprays. I also applied some inks to the Dusty in Bloom flowers.
For my background I used a stencil and modeling paste to add some texture. I also heat embossed the frame around the photo and then added some highlights with inks.

Hello fellow Dusty Attic lovers!!! I am back today to share with you my interpretation of this month’s mood board challenge and I used the colours for my inspiration.
I used 7 Dots Studio Chestnuts patterned paper from the Yuletide range as my base background paper. I added some white gesso and Dylusions Calypso Teal spray to the background and then used Stampers Anonymous stamp sets – Ultimate Grunge and Reflections.
I left the chicken wire chipboard raw and cut into 3 sections. I also left 3 of the Industrial Chains raw. For the other 3 chains I painted with white gesso and then used Art Alchemy Waxes in White Gold, Brushed Iron, Aged Brass & Rich Copper.
I also painted the Mini Cogs, Industrial Stars, Ship Wheels and my words from Word Pack #2 with white gesso. The stars & cogs I used Dylusions Calypso Teal and brushed some black ink over the top.
For the title I used Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks in Ruby over the top of the gesso. I also used the Art Alchemy Waxes on the Ship Wheels chipboard.
