Hello everyone!!! Today I am up on the Dusty Attic Blog another Halloween project but this time it’s a layout. I had so much fun creating this layout, it was nice do something a little spooky!!!
For the base cardstock I have used one of the sheets from 49 and Market Rusty Autumn Collection. This purple was perfect for what I wanted to do. I stamped the cracks stamp with black archival ink and added some Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint in Metallique Fresh Orange.
I added white gesso around the edges of the photo and my chipboard pieces – Web Flourish and the small web from Spiders and Web set and adhered them to the layout.
I applied black gesso to the smaller skeleton from the Skeletons pack and then lightly rubbed some Art Alchemy wax in the Brushed Iron. I also used this wax on the Web Flourish.
For the Page Pebbles #14 and Wordpl@y #6 I lightly painted the Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint in Metallique Fresh Orange and then covered the chipboard with black archival ink making sure I used a swiping motion so that the ink didn’t go into the grooves of the chipboard.
For my Redback Spider I used the smaller spider from the Spiders set. I painted it with black gesso and used a red acrylic paint for the red line. I also did the same for the smaller spider up on the top left hand corner using Spiders and Web set.
For the chain I painted with black gesso and then applied Art Alchemy Waxes in Rich Copper, Bronze Age and Aged Brass. To finish off the layout I also added some stamping around the edges of the patterned paper using Kaisercraft Film Edges clear stamp set.
