Hi Everyone, so I thought I would give the Lindy’s Stamp Gang April Challenge a go….. I love these colours. If you would like to also join in on the challenge please click here for their blog. I also have a process video at the end of the blog if you would like to see my create my cover.
I used LSG magical shakers Alphine Ice Rose, Polka Purple and Flat Fabio Spray Raspberry Lemonade on my background. For the butterfly wings I used Finnabair’s Don’t Forget To Fly stamp with with Guten Tag Teal & Time Travel Teal. I used a transparency to stamp the wings onto.
I used 2 background stamps – Uniquely Creative Numeric stamp and PaperArtsy EM49 Electica stamp designed by Seth Apter. I also used used TCW554s Mini Butterfly Collage stencil along with TCW9015 Black Licorice acrylic paint through the stencil and in my Fineline Applicator which I used to doodle around the edges.
To finish off the cover, I used Tim Holtz Paper Dolls and also his Quote Chips which I inked around the edges using Vintage Photo Archival Ink.
