Mixed Media Card – Art Anthology

Hi Everyone, today is my last share for Art Anthology, I can’t believe that it has been 6 months already. I feel very blessed to have been apart of such an amazing design team. With that all said, here is my project, a mixed media card…. I do have a process video which at the bottom of the blog xx

Work of art card by Farrel Tailor

I started by stamping my background using Watering Can Archival Ink and Uniquely Creative’s Numeric Stamp. I then added some stenciling some pearl modeling paste with Art Anthology’s stencil – Art Deco

I stamped some butterflies onto some white cardstock and used Colorations Sprays – Juicy, Plush and Patience to add some colour to them.

For the background of the card, I used a super wet paint brush and used same Colorations Sprays as above I applied the sprays like water colour paints.

I mounted the background onto some black cardstock and adhere my butterflies. I used Tim Holtz Small Talk stickers and splattered using black and white gesso.
